It turns out packing is pretty easy after a year of travelling, when nearly everything you own is either mouldy or so ingrained with Northern Territory dust that there’s no point even trying to clean it any more. Knowing my luck, the recently rolled in the mud look will just be coming in in Europe. Where i’ve been reassured it’s also pretty warm. Love and joy all around then. Tonight to celebrate our last night in Australia we celebrated by eating roughly twice our own body weight in Indian curry. The walk home was fairly painful. I’ll let you know how the drum carrying thing works out with German customs later on….
